Our Team

Apoorva Jinka-Patel, OD, FAAO graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from State University of New York College of Optometry. Dr. Jinka completed her residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease at the VA NY Harbor Health Care System in Brooklyn, NY. She has previously also served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for SUNY College of Optometry, precepting optometry students in private practice and hospital settings. 

Dr. Jinka’s professional areas of interests include glaucoma management, dry eye treatments, and retinal pathology. She has presented posters at academy meetings, participated in Grand Rounds lectures, and delivered a COPE (The Council on Optometric Practitioner Education)-approved lecture to her colleagues. Dr. Jinka is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, which is an earned distinction for those who have met the highest standards of professional competence, and who are dedicated to lifelong learning in the field of eye care.

Dr. Jinka’s compassion goes beyond the exam room. She has participated in national and international medical mission trips in Manhattan, NY, Chiapas, Mexico and Pananomé, Panama, and is looking forward to many more missions in the future.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Jinka enjoys photography, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter.  She is fluent in English and Telugu, and is conversant in Spanish. She looks forward to providing quality, thorough, and personalized care to the patients of Lawrenceville Eye Care.

Dr. Larry J. Greidinger  was born in Brooklyn, and raised in Queens, NY. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1975. He continued his education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia where he received his Bachelor's of Science Degree and Doctor of Optometry Degree in 1979.
 
Dr. Greidinger joined the practice in 1984. He was trained by the group's ophthalmologists for over 30 years and practices all aspects of optometry including medical management of eye disease and co-management of our surgical patients.

As an amateur radio operator and computer hobbyist, he naturally became the practice's information and technology person. He enjoys introducing the profession's latest technological advances in patient care to the practice.

Dr. Greidinger is a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and a member of The American Optometric Association.

Dr. Mostafavi is the founder of Mostafavi Eye Princeton. A board-certified ophthalmologist, he specializes in cataract surgery, uveitis, general ophthalmology, and resident education. He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. He also currently serves as Chairman of Ophthalmology at Richmond University Medical Center.

Dr. Mostafavi completed his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate and was named administrative chief resident by the faculty. While a resident, he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical society, an honor given to only a few residents at an academic institution. After residency, David extended his training with a fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary under the guidance of Michael Samson M.D. and Sanjay Kedhar M.D., both recognized leaders in the fields of ocular inflammation and corneal disease. Dr. Mostafavi completed his medical school training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

In addition to supervising a level one trauma center for ophthalmic emergencies, Dr. Mostafavi allocates one day a week to teach the latest techniques in cataract and glaucoma surgery to ophthalmology residents and fellows. 

Dr. Mostafavi completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry with a full scholarship at Rutgers University. In his free time, he enjoys Crossfit and spending time with his wife, children, and dog in Princeton, NJ.
