What's New at Lawrenceville Eye Care

Dear Valued Patient,

I hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you inform you about some important changes that will be taking place in my practice in the coming months. As your trusted Optometrist, I believe in keeping you well-informed about any developments that may impact your eye care.

After 44 years of practicing Optometry, I have made the decision to reduce my work hours as I approach the next phase of my professional journey. I have transitioned to a part-time schedule (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays) and will continue to do so for another 1½ years when I plan to retire. While this change means that my availability is limited, please be assured that I am committed to providing continued quality eye care for all my patients during this transition period.

In preparation for my retirement, I have carefully selected and have introduced Dr. Apoorva Jinka-Patel, OD, FAAO to the practice within the past year. Dr. Jinka is a highly skilled and compassionate Optometrist who shares my commitment to exceptional patient care. She has an outstanding background; she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from State University of New York College of Optometry and completed her residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease at the VA NY Harbor Health Care System in Brooklyn, NY. She has previously also served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for SUNY College of Optometry, precepting optometry students in private practice and hospital settings. Her expertise include glaucoma management and advanced treatments for dry eye syndrome. Rest assured, Dr. Jinka provides the same level of personalized attention and expertise that you have come to expect.

I understand that change can sometimes be unsettling, but please know that I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Jinka and her ability to continue delivering the high standard of care that you deserve. She will work closely with me during the transition period to ensure a seamless handover of medical records and continuity of care. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these upcoming changes, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office. My staff and I are here to address any queries you may have and assist you in any way possible.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate this transition. It is my sincere hope that these changes will allow me to provide the highest level of care while also allowing me to enjoy a well-deserved retirement in the future.

Wishing you good health and clarity of vision always.

With warm regards,

Dr. Larry Greidinger
